Maybe you have already been to Egypt and are looking for a different experience or maybe Egypt is a trip you have dreamed of all your life, either way this journey will exceed all your expectations.
We will spend half of our trip on the Nile in the luxurious comfort of a private sailing boat known in Ancient times as a Dahabeya.
Onboard we will have our own private crew, ensuited cabins and a customised sailing schedule to provide plenty of time for relaxation and also teaching learning and healing time with the amazing Sue Nicholson.
Our journey will begin in Cairo with an exclusive PRIVATE ACCESS in between the Paws of the Sphinx before exploring the Pyramids of Giza and fying south to the Ancient capital of Thebes, now known as modern day Luxor.
We will board our private Dahabeya and settle in for 7 days of sailing the Nile, exploring the Temples, learning the local culture and traditions, spending time with Sue, eating delicious meals made from fresh local produce of the fertile soils of the Nile.
In ancient times these sailing boats were originally built to carry VIP’s and royal families, the Dahabeya was a luxury pleasure boat for the Nile.
Along our jouney we will visit the Temples located beside the Nile River, all with different stories to tell.
These temples will include the magnificent Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Philae, Edfu and Komombo.
In addition we will see some very significant temples that are no so often visited due to there location.
The Temple of Seti 1 in Abydos is famous as the cult centre of the God of the Underworld, Osiris.
Dendera, the Temple dedicated to the Goddess of Motherhood and Joy, Hathor
